Break Free Today—Apply for Guidance

Recovery isn’t one-size-fits-all—it requires tailoring. Over the past 20 years, I’ve seen people find sobriety in all kinds of ways. I’ll help you uncover the approach that’s the right fit for you.

A New Approach to Recovery

If you’re reading this and thinking, “I’ve tried everything, but nothing sticks,” or “I want more than just quitting—I want to feel whole again,” then this is for you. Addiction often starts as a way to cope with deep pain, feeling alone, or a sense that something’s missing inside—that nagging emptiness that sticks around, even when everything seems okay on the outside.

At Sacred Sobriety, we see addiction as more than a habit to break. It’s a sign of disconnection—from yourself, from others, and from something bigger, like the calm you feel watching a sunset or sitting quietly with your thoughts. We call this spiritual disconnection, a kind of soul sickness that traditional programs often miss.

Why Traditional Recovery Models Fall Short

Most recovery programs treat addiction like a puzzle to solve: fix the behavior, and you’re done. But you know it’s not that simple. Addiction isn’t just a brain glitch or a bad choice—it’s a response to feeling lost, hurt, or spiritually empty.

Indigenous cultures have long understood this, seeing addiction as spiritual disconnection—a soul sickness—rather than just a personal failing. Modern science is catching up, showing that healing requires more than willpower—it requires reconnection with the Sacred, that sense of meaning and purpose we all crave.

That’s where Sacred Sobriety comes in. This isn’t about shaming yourself into sobriety or following rigid steps. It’s about restoring what’s been lost and reclaiming your inner strength, clarity, and purpose.

Society, Sobriety, and the Sacred

You know that feeling when you’re scrolling through social media and suddenly realize you’ve lost an hour? That’s part of the disconnection we’re talking about. Our world pushes us to move faster, compete harder, and stay plugged in—but at what cost? Anxiety, depression, and addiction thrive when we lose touch with three essential things:

  • Our connection to community: Real relationships, not just likes and follows.
  • Our connection to nature: The living earth that grounds us.
  • Our connection to the Sacred: A sense of purpose and meaning beyond the daily grind.

The solution isn’t found in sweeping societal changes or quick fixes. It’s in slowing down, reflecting quietly, and rebuilding authentic connections—what we call reconnection with the Sacred.

One of my clients, let’s call her Sarah, found that just five minutes of quiet reflection each morning helped her feel more grounded than she had in years. In Sacred Sobriety, we balance the logical, detail-focused mind with the big-picture, heart-centered mind. This opens you to beauty, complexity, and a deep sense of belonging.

This isn’t just about quitting something. It’s about stepping into a fuller, richer life.

Shadow Work for Sobriety

My recovery approach centers on the Jungian Shadow because it:

  1. Houses repressed resentment, guilt, shame, and emotions we haven’t allowed ourselves to feel. Also known as the painbody.
  2. Fuels much self-sabotage, driven by unconscious motivations and neglected needs.
  3. Offers unique lessons by revealing blind spots, uncovering hidden gifts, and guiding deeper self-awareness.
  4. Is a powerful reservoir of unconscious energy—when integrated, it enriches our sense of wholeness.

In my coaching, we turn inward to illuminate the unspoken guilt and potential within your shadow. Guided by Jung’s wisdom, each session deepens self-awareness, unleashes new energy, and fosters true integration. This work transcends habit-breaking, fueling genuine transformation so you can step fully into your most empowered, authentic self.

How I Work With Clients

This isn’t a one-size-fits-all program. Your story, struggles, and needs are unique, so our work together is built around your specific journey.

1. Subconscious Clarity

Many struggles are rooted in unexamined beliefs—patterns formed in childhood, cultural conditioning, and trauma. By bringing them to light, we create space for real change and begin healing the soul sickness that fuels addiction.

2. The 8 Rituals: From Chaos to Order

Addiction thrives in chaos. Recovery requires structure, rhythm, and sacred discipline. My 8 Rituals for Sacred Sobriety create a daily framework that restores balance and fosters reconnection with the Sacred:

  • Embrace Your Shadow: Face the parts of yourself you’ve been avoiding, with gentle guidance.
  • Honor Your Ancestors: Connect with the strength and wisdom of those who came before you.
  • Nature Reconnection: Spend time outdoors to recharge and find perspective.
  • Daily Bookends: Start and end your day with simple practices that keep you centered.
  • Vision Creation: Craft a clear, inspiring reason for your sobriety.
  • Turn Challenges into Growth: Learn to see obstacles as opportunities to grow stronger.
  • Meditative Alignment: Use breathwork and stillness to regain control when things feel chaotic.
  • Mekka ‘Thank You’ Prayer: A gratitude practice that shifts your mindset.

3. Relapse Security System

Relapse doesn’t just happen—it follows a pattern. We build a personalized plan to spot triggers before they take over.

4. A Rebirth Ceremony

This isn’t the end—it’s a new beginning. We mark your transformation with a sacred ritual to integrate what you’ve learned and step fully into your new self, celebrating your reconnection with the Sacred.

The Hero’s Journey

Recovery isn’t a punishment—it’s a heroic journey. It’s truly epic.

Addiction thrives in chaos, but recovery flourishes in order. The same chaos that fuels addiction creates disorganized habits and impulsive behavior. The solution to this chaos is structure—the kind that restores clarity, stability, and meaning to life. Recovery requires discipline, but it’s not the cold, rigid discipline of punishment. Instead, it’s a life-giving practice that brings freedom through clarity and purpose.

As Jung believed, life’s greatest challenges serve as invitations for transformation, and addiction is no different. It presents both a crisis and an opportunity. The chaos of addiction may feel overwhelming, but it is the very soil from which new order can grow. This reflects the individuation process, where we confront the light and shadow within us to achieve true inner harmony.

Yet, the hero’s journey is also one of humility. True strength lies not in self-sufficiency, but in the recognition that we are guided by a power/force greater than ourselves (the Sacred). It is through this connection that we find the wisdom and strength to face our struggles.

Client Testimonial

“I’d tried countless programs, but none helped me stabilize financially or improve my overall well-being. After following Chris’s guidance, I’ve saved enough money to clear a chunk of debt and even started a small emergency fund. My energy levels and mood have improved so much that my siblings and I are actually enjoying family dinners again—something I never thought possible at this stage.”

Frequently Asked Questions

Will I be working with Chris or someone else?

You’ll work directly with me every step of the way. I’ll personally guide you through the assessments, help you interpret the results, and support you throughout the entire journey. Nothing in this process is outsourced—your privacy and trust are my top priorities.

What are your qualifications and experience?

I’m Chris, and I’m truly glad you’ve found your way here. My life’s work is rooted in a journey of transformation—a climb from the depths of alcoholism, substance abuse, and homelessness to a life guided by purpose, spiritual connection, and resilience. At 25, I took my first steps toward recovery, committing myself to a path that continues to evolve and deepen to this day.

With over 20 years of personal experience navigating and overcoming addiction, I know the darkness that can feel insurmountable. It’s this lived experience that allows me to walk alongside you as a fellow traveler, offering not just understanding but tools and strategies that work in the real world.

My professional journey has been shaped by a deep fascination with human potential that began when I discovered the work of Tony Robbins at just 12 years old. Since then, I’ve explored and integrated insights from mindfulness coaching, business coaching, and now recovery coaching. Academically, I studied Consciousness and Psychology at the University of Michigan, building a foundation that helps me understand the complexities of the human mind and spirit.

Philosophically, my work is inspired by shamanism, stoicism, and modern mysticism. I often think of my advisory panel as including figures like Marcus Aurelius, Carl Jung, and Terence McKenna, whose timeless wisdom informs my approach to recovery. My goal is to help you tap into the Creative Force that flows through all of us, to find meaning, purpose, and clarity in your life.

At the heart of my coaching is a belief in the power of balance: honoring ambition while cultivating gratitude, embracing humility as a strength, and seeking meaning over materialism. My approach values thoughtful honesty, self-respect, and the pursuit of a life deeply rooted in connection—with yourself, others, and the Sacred.

Above all, I bring a spirit of gratitude to my work. The lessons I’ve learned through struggle and triumph are what I now share with you, not as a teacher looking down, but as someone who knows the road and is ready to walk it with you.

What’s included in your program?

Coaching begins with understanding your unique needs and goals. Together, we create a personalized plan that includes actionable steps, regular check-ins, and adjustments as needed. You won’t be overwhelmed with homework but there is work to be done; the process is designed to be challenging, supportive, and flexible.

How does this program help?

Most recovery plans aren’t designed for you—they’re designed for someone else. This program gives you a custom plan that works with your unique personality, strengths, and spiritual needs, helping you break free from addiction.

How will my progress be tracked and measured?

Progress is monitored through regular assessments and feedback during our sessions. We set clear, achievable goals and review them periodically to ensure you’re moving forward in your recovery journey. Adjustments are made as needed to address any emerging challenges or to set new objectives.

How is this different from therapy or sponsorship?

While counseling often centers on diagnosing past traumas and sponsors tend to overlook them entirely, this coaching process strikes a balance: acknowledging trauma and the shadow self while focusing on moving forward. Unlike therapy or sponsorship, recovery coaching emphasizes setting meaningful goals, building healthy habits, and maintaining accountability to take action—empowering you to create a future aligned with your true self and strengths.

Put simply, you’ll walk away with clear marching orders—actions to take. We focus on making things happen, not just indulging in mental or emotional ‘check-ins.’ You’ll never leave our sessions empty-handed. Every session delivers dynamic breakthroughs, because otherwise, what’s the point?

Can this be integrated (therapy/12-step/support groups)?

Absolutely! Recovery coaching is a powerful complement to other forms of treatment like therapy and support groups. While therapy helps address deeper psychological issues and support groups foster communal sharing and connection, my coaching style is centered on direct truth-telling/feedback, simple tasks, and unwavering accountability to help you sustain sobriety through clarity and action. By integrating these approaches, you can create a more well-rounded and effective recovery process. Furthermore, my program in 100% compatible with any religious belief or 12-step program.

How do you ensure confidentiality during coaching?

Confidentiality is paramount in our coaching relationship. All information shared during sessions is kept strictly confidential, adhering to ethical guidelines and legal requirements. This ensures a safe and trusting environment where you can openly discuss your experiences and challenges.

Do you offer any guarantees?

We understand the courage it takes to start your recovery journey. That’s why we offer:

  1. Risk-Free First Session: If the first session doesn’t resonate with you, simply let us know, and we’ll refund your payment—no questions asked.
  2. 21-Day Foundation Commitment: Engage fully in the program for 21 days, and if you don’t see meaningful progress, we’ll review your experience and provide a partial refund for unused sessions.

This ensures you can begin your journey with confidence and peace of mind.

What's your refund policy?

Once you enroll, we reserve all your appointment times on my calendar and secure your access to the necessary assessments. Due to the time and resources invested upfront, we do not offer full refunds for the 4-week program. We can issue you a full credit for a future time or offer 50% back now (this covers our losses).

That said, we understand that life can be unpredictable. If something urgent arises, we’re flexible with rescheduling as long as you provide advance notice.

If you’re purchasing this for someone else, please ensure they are fully ready and committed to the process before enrolling. This will help everyone get the best results from the program.

What if I miss one of my appointments?

Once you’re signed up, we’ll schedule your 4 private sessions at times that work best for you. If something comes up and you can’t make a scheduled appointment, simply let us know at least 24 hours (or one business day) in advance, and we’ll happily reschedule it for you.

In the event of a late cancellation or a no-show, we can still reschedule your session, though an additional session fee will apply.

Can I apply for a loved one?

Yes, you can fill out the application either for yourself or for a loved one.

However, before you submit the application, I recommend having your loved one watch a few of my videos. This will give them a better sense of my coaching style and help determine if we’re the right fit. It’s essential that they feel comfortable and engaged in the process, as this can significantly enhance the success of the coaching.

You can select a couple of videos from my YouTube channel that you think would resonate with them.
